Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Red Good Wine uses only the cookies it needs to work, plus analytics if we turn them on. We do not use advertising cookies.

Cookies we set

• rgw_age: remembers that you confirmed you are 21 or older, so we do not ask on every page. Lasts 30 days.
• rgw_session: keeps you signed in, if you sign in. Lasts 30 days or until you sign out.
• rgw_cart: remembers your cart when you add one of our own products. Lasts 30 days.
• csrf: protects our forms from forged requests. Ends when you close your browser.
• rgw_preview: lets invited visitors in while the site is in private preview. Lasts 12 hours, and goes away when the site is public.

Stored in your browser

• rgw.age-verified: the same age confirmation, kept in your browser's local storage.
• rgw.mode: remembers whether you chose the clean shop or the RGW/OS terminal skin.

Analytics

If we turn on Google Analytics, it sets its own cookies (named _ga, and _ga_ followed by an ID, lasting up to two years) to count visits and clicks. It is configured without advertising features, and it does not load at all when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal.

Other services

If you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies under its own policy. Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop spam. When you follow a link to a shop, that shop's own cookie policy applies on its site.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, the age gate will ask again, you will be signed out, and your cart will be empty. To turn off analytics, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. See also your privacy choices.
